Presently, Mr. Amresh Kushwaha is the chairman of the Uttar Pradesh Industrial Cooperative Association (UPICA), an apex society of UP, having many more National/State/Zonal awards in his name & his society.

In his society, only natural yarn like silk & cotton are used. They incorporate all four types of silk (Mulberry, Eri, Muga & Tussar) in their weaving. All silk is being procured from Bangalore, Assam and with the help of NHDC. The effort has been made in design & product diversification like saree, lehenga, Dupatta, Dress Materials, men’s wear fabric, some accessories like Thalposh, Pocket square, Stole, and furnishing like Upholstery, Cushion covers, Curtains, etc. which give them a diverse market.

The society is an authorised user of India Handloom Brand, Handloom mark, Silk Mark, and GI mark, which gives more value & authenticity to the products. Now, corporates like TATA(Taneria), Reliance (Swadesh), Aditya Birla (Aadyam), Swati & Sunaina Gold, etc. are collaborating with the society. Mr. Kushwaha says that with the integration of innovation, we are not just saving traditional crafts but redefining them for the modern world. We believe that by infusing new life into these crafts, we can ensure their survival for generations to come. We welcome educational visits, providing internships and engaging educational lectures to aspiring designers from prestigious institutions such as NIFT, NID, Banasthali, IIHT, and others.
A continuous effort is given to the welfare of the weavers by introducing a Frame loom, Electronic Jacquard, an Ergonomic chair and a hygienic, ventilated centralised setup.
